Instructions for unassisted Remote Identity Verification for Ireland, Cyprus, Italy, the Netherlands, Malta, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Bulgaria

For the Remote Identity Verification process, you should follow these steps:

1. Log in to your account and in the "Remote Identity Verification" field and click on "Continue".

   

2. A second screen will appear by clicking on the “Continue” action button, prompting you to have your identification document available. After the “Start” button is selected, you will get redirected.

   

3. You will be prompted to continue the process, using your smartphone device.

   The process can also be performed on a pc/laptop if no smartphone device is available.

4. Some instructions will be provided, to successfully perform the process.

   

5. You will need to allow access to your device's camera and then present the front and back sides of the identification document. When you feel comfortable that the picture will suffice to complete the process, click on the “Take Photo” button.

   

6. In case the picture does not meet the required criteria, then an error screen appears, asking you to repeat the process and will provide some visual examples of the acceptable format of the picture.

   

7. You will be asked to take a selfie and select again the “Take photo” button.

8. If the quality of the picture is sufficient, then the following success message appears.
