How do I manage beneficiaries in my Viva.com Account?

A beneficiary is a person or organization that you regularly transfer money to. You can save beneficiaries in your Viva.com Account so their payment details are available for future transfers.

#Important before adding a beneficiary

When adding a beneficiary, make sure you enter the beneficiary's official account holder name exactly as it appears on their bank account.

• For individuals, enter their full first and last name.

• For businesses, enter the full legal entity name.

Providing the correct beneficiary name helps reduce the risk of payment delays, rejected transfers, or cancellations.

1. Log in to your Viva.com Account.

2. From the main menu, select Beneficiaries.

3. Select Add beneficiary.

4. Enter the required information:

   • Account Name

   • Account Number

   • Nickname

5. Select Add Beneficiary to save the beneficiary.

#Via the Viva.com app

1. Open the Viva.com app.

2. Select Make a Payment.

3. In the beneficiaries list, swipe left and select Show All.

4. Tap the Add Beneficiary (+) icon.

5. Enter the required beneficiary details:

   • Account Name

   • Account Number

   • Nickname

6. Tap Add Beneficiary to save the beneficiary.

#Edit or delete a beneficiary

You can update a beneficiary's name or nickname, or remove a beneficiary from your saved list at any time.

1. Log in to your Viva.com Account.

2. From the main menu, select Beneficiaries.

3. Locate the beneficiary you want to manage.

To edit a beneficiary:

• Select the beneficiary name.

• Update the beneficiary name or nickname.

• Save your changes.

To delete a beneficiary:

• Select Delete next to the beneficiary.

• Confirm the deletion when prompted.

1. Open the Viva.com app.

2. Select Make a Payment.

3. In the beneficiaries list, swipe left and select Show All.

4. Locate the beneficiary you want to manage and swipe left.

To edit a beneficiary:

• Tap the pencil icon.

• Update the beneficiary name or nickname.

• Save your changes.

To delete a beneficiary:

• Tap the pencil icon.

• Select Delete beneficiary.

• Confirm the deletion when prompted.

#Via iOS app

1. Open the Viva.com app.

2. Select Pay at the bottom of the screen.

3. Select Make a payment.

4. In Step 2, swipe left and select Show All.

5. Select the arrow in the top-right corner and choose Edit beneficiary.

6. Locate the beneficiary you want to manage.

To edit a beneficiary:

• Tap the edit icon.

• Update the beneficiary name or nickname.

• Save your changes.

To delete a beneficiary:

• Tap the edit icon.

• Select Delete beneficiary.

• Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Note: We recommend editing the beneficiary name only if it was entered incorrectly. If you want to better distinguish between multiple beneficiary accounts, consider updating the beneficiary nickname instead.
